Using environmentally friendly products has never been more
important. Architectural Coatings + Design Center is able
to provide you with the eco-alternatives you need. We would
like to partner with you on any future projects and provide
you with superior products and service. We offer Zero VOC
and Low VOC paint in over 2000 stock colors and an infinite
selection of custom matched colors. We can also match colors
to any other paint company color-deck. We use a special ZERO
VOC colorant to achieve paint colors so, unlike many other
paint stores, we do not add any VOCs when we make a paint
color.
Our all-natural plaster wall finishes include; Venetian plaster,
American Clay Plaster, marble-flour and lime-putty plaster,
and diatomaceous earth plaster that actually absorbs indoor
air pollutants.
We carry a wide range of heritage, restoration and specialty
finishes: lime wash, liquid iron/instant rust and liquid copper/patina
green, clay paint, milk paint, lime plaster.
For indoor air quality improvements we offer SAFECOAT carpet
shampoo, carpet sealers, cleaning solutions, particle board
and plywood sealers that prevent formaldehyde off-gassing.
When it comes to protecting wood, look no further than ac+dc!
We carry natural wood finishes, non-toxic wood stain, plant
oil-based sealers (oil used is from organically grown soy
beans/ no petroleum), and sealers to prevent “off-gassing“
from MDF/particle board/OSB or plywood.

Who uses our products?
Our customers are design professionals, specialty contractors and concerned home owners. People with young children in the house (or on the way) tend to search out products we carry because they are safe to use around developing minds and bodies. Even elementary schools use our products in their classrooms for the benefit of the students. We carry products to help customers who suffer from multiple chemical sensitivity issues. Our natural clay and lime plasters are used by people with allergies because the incredibly smooth surface doesn't allow dust and pollen to cling to its surface. Also the negative charged clay surface will actually repel floating dust. For designers and contractors we offer product training classes on our environmentally friendly products and our specialty coatings and finishes.
